CONVERSATION 27 – January 16, 2026: Coaching Session - Raising Into Your Power with Angeline May

Daniela Lejtneker | JAN 16

Our recent gathering with Angeline May offered a deeply thoughtful and empowering space for women navigating midlife to explore what confidence and empowerment truly mean in this season of life—honoring that these definitions naturally shift as we grow and evolve.

The session created a safe, supportive container grounded in group learning, reflective exercises, and peer connection. Rather than being taught what to think or do, we were gently guided to uncover what already lives within us.

By the end of the session, participants:

  • Gained clarity on what confidence and empowerment look and feel like now

  • Identified internal narratives that may be limiting the sense of personal power

  • Designed 1–2 concrete actions to take within the next 48 hours to carry their insights forward

Angeline’s approach is influenced by positive psychology, focusing on strengths and well-being—shifting the question from “What’s wrong?” to “What’s possible?” The session was also informed by her 7 Dimensions of Respect framework under the Bright New Day umbrella, with a strong emphasis on self-respect as the foundation for growth, boundaries, and sustainable change.

Themes such as honoring who we are while embracing who we’re becoming, allowing discomfort as part of growth, and finding joy in the journey—not just the destination—resonated deeply. Clear community agreements helped cultivate trust, presence, and mutual respect.

The energy in the room was grounded, reflective, and deeply supportive. Thank you to everyone who showed up with openness, honesty, and courage.

Angeline, thank you so much for the care, clarity, and presence you brought into the space. Thank you for guiding us so thoughtfully, for holding space with such intention, and for offering reflections and tools we can actively carry into our lives. We’re deeply grateful for your time, your wisdom, and the energy you shared with us.

Honoring the Rhythms of Menstruation, Perimenopause & Post- menopause
Hosted by Science Behind YogaStewarding Connections

Kellie from Stewarding Connections will bring her Young Women’s Circle to Midlife Cafe for a village-style, intergenerational gathering—a space where women in their menstruating, perimenopausal, and post-menopausal years come together to share stories, wisdom, and lived experience.

This gathering offers a quiet, nourishing place to be seen, supported, and reconnected with your body’s natural rhythms. A space where generations stand beside one another.

If you feel it’s appropriate, you’re warmly invited to bring your daughters, nieces, or granddaughters.

What We Will Explore

  • Hormonal rhythms across the menstrual, perimenopausal, menopausal, and post-menopausal cycles (moon cycles for post menopausal women)

  • Herbal support for weight shifts, energy changes, brain fog, libido changes, menstrual pain, PCOS tendencies, and fertility challenges

  • Breathwork for regulation and grounding

  • Somatic practices to reconnect with intuition, presence, and inner steadiness

  • A plant-centered tea ceremony

  • Time for community fellowship and gentle conversation
